Daniel P. Walsh, Jr. represents the fourth generation of family leadership at The Walsh Group, one of the largest general contractors in the United States. The Walsh Group manages more than $6 billion of annual construction revenues, performing work as Walsh Construction and Archer Western Construction across the building, transportation and water markets. Daniel has nearly 30 years of experience in the industry and has played a leading role in the success of The Walsh Group’s growth in heavy civil construction operations. He has helped direct the firm to be recognized as the Largest Bridge Builder and Largest Wastewater Treatment Plant Builder in America by Engineering News-Record, in addition to its industry-leading portfolio of highway, mass transit, airport and water treatment plant experience. Daniel’s leadership promotes a steadfast commitment to safety, quality and ethics paired with an emphasis on exceptional customer service for the company’s numerous public, private and federal clients.

Peter Eyre

Peter J. Eyre is a partner and co-chair of Crowell & Moring’s Government Contracts Group. He is also a member of the firm’s Management Board. Peter was named to BTI Consulting Group’s list of “Client Service All-Stars” in 2016, 2017, and 2019 and has been named an Acritas Star, Acritas Stars Independently Rated Lawyers (2016, 2017, 2019). He is nationally ranked by Chambers USA in Government Contracts since 2014, and by Super Lawyers since 2017. Peter’s practice includes a wide range of litigation, counseling, crisis management, and transactional capabilities, including: compliance reviews; enhancing and implementing compliance programs; due diligence in the transactional context; structuring transactions; dispute resolution; bid protests; complex investigations relating to the civil False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Procurement Integrity Act, and other civil and criminal matters at the federal, state, and local levels; grants and related requirements; GSA Schedule contracting; contract negotiation and administration; suspension and debarment proceedings; and mandatory disclosures.  Peter routinely works with companies in the construction and defense industries and speaks regularly about developments and best practices in compliance and ethics.
